Did you Know….?

A book called ‘A Treatise on Skating’ is said to be the oldest surviving written account of Skating that exists today. Written by an Englishman called Robert Jones in 1772, the book covers advice on choosing skates, learning how to skate, and there are also some techniques for more advanced manoeuvres.

  • Of the inside edge
  • Of travelling on the inside edge
  • Of the outside edge
